I am 57 years old and have found myself with no longer caring for children or parents, this is a new beginning. I let myself go but now the word go is replaced with DO. Every week I DO an outing, started taking piano lessons, enjoy walking, dancing and tai chi. Working long hours I would come home so tired and would turn on the TV and eat unhealthy food. Now I try to stick to fresh fruits and vegetables and have water instead of pop. Turn off the TV and listen to the radio, read a book. Another thing that burns calories and will give you great comfort is to keep a very clean home. But this is not all about ourselves DO good by serving and loving others and weight will also be lifted from your heart.
