Day 22 Re-Cap
April 8, 2011
Started my morning learning about the Silversneakers. A program available to Blue Cross platinum members 65 and older. The program promotes healthy eating and exercise geared toward seniors. If you have seniors in your life who you think could benefit from this kind of program, I highly recommend you check it out and pass the info on to them. There are some really cool benefits available. All the info can be found on the web site http://www.silversneakers.com
I slept pretty good last night, I could tell that the Kettlebells “woke up” feeling some new muscles. I love the way it feels when my muscles start to come alive.
LUNCH, I tried my own fried rice, for lunch today using brown rice and low sodium soy sauce. My inspiration came from Brenda Langton, the Chef at Spoonriver!
The video of me making my creation is on my Facebook page.
Spoke with Dr Marc today using a new web tool called “Online Care Anywhere”. Its pretty cool, it allows you to talk to a Dr directly on line. Kinda of like Skype, but a direct link to a real Medical Doctor. Anyone can use it and you do not need to have insurance to use the service. Very cool…
I am getting excited to Do the Goldy 5k run/walk tomorrow. Talked with Dr macro and all is good! Green light to do the race. Julie will be joining me. So excited.
One of my Do’s today was dancing like Beyonce in her All the single ladies video. The cutest little girl, joined me. Adorable. Check out the video, its on my Facebook page. It makes me smile.
Going to sign off a little early tonight, TWINS HOME OPENER RE-PLAY IS ON TONIGHT!
Only 8 days left… going way to fast.
